Job Description:
As a Bartender at The Fat Pigeon, you will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality cocktails, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills by contributing to our menu and ensuring each guest has a memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including signature cocktails, classic drinks, and custom orders. Greet and interact with customers, providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring a positive guest experience. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, restocking supplies, and managing inventory. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and ingredients. Contribute to the creation of new cocktail recipes and seasonal menus. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently. Monitor and manage customer intoxication levels in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Collaborate with the bar and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and service. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required. Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume cocktail bar or similar establishment. Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beer. Ability to create and develop new cocktail recipes. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for extended periods. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Valid bartending license or certification (if required by state law). Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner. Preferred Qualifications:
