Job Summary and Qualifications As the Senior Contract Manager, your role will focus on negotiating national agreements for our group purchasing organization in Surgical Medical Devices, specifically within Ortho & Spine. Negotiate top-tier national agreements aimed at securing best-in-class pricing and contract terms for surgical devices. Manage sourcing initiatives involving portfolios with annual spending of $100m-$200m, focusing on categories that present low to medium complexity and risk. Responsible for overseeing the sourcing process including market research, strategy development, RFI/RFP preparation, contract negotiations, and launching agreements. Present contract strategies and finalize award recommendations to internal stakeholders such as HealthTrust Senior Leaders and various functional team members. Validate strategies and present final awards to applicable customer-led Advisory Boards. Maintain supplier relationships and engage in business reviews while assessing new products and technologies. Build strong working relationships with customers through effective communication about contract processes and performance. Facilitate discussions with internal teams to align on resources and timelines for contracting initiatives. Communicate bid processes, negotiation statuses, and agreement concerns effectively with suppliers and internal teams. Interface with key supply chain executives and present to boards promoting contract commitments. Requirements Bachelor's Degree required in Supply Chain, Healthcare, Business, or Finance. A minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing and negotiating national agreements. Experience with Medical Device contracts (Ortho & Spine) is preferred. Healthcare supply chain background is highly valued. Ability to work onsite in Nashville, TN is required.
