Foundation Health Partners (FHP) is looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the team! This position performs prescribed procedures as directed by following department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population. Responsibilities Performs nuclear medicine procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures. Educates patients/families regarding procedures and/or treatments. Demonstrates professional behavior and fosters teamwork to ensure quality patient outcomes. Produces high-quality images, prepares, and presents them with pertinent patient information for interpretation. Maintains accurate documentation. Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures and in the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and medications. Performs equipment quality control measurements, troubleshoots, and maintains a safe environment, adhering to safety policies and ALARA principles. Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical, legal, and professional standards. Ensures efficient workflow, manages supplies, and maintains department operations. Performs all functions according to policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and professional standards, providing excellent service to customers. Qualifications Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technology program. National certification from ARRT Nuclear Board and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or equivalent; state licensure if applicable. Advanced certification within 18 months if required. BLS certification required. Typically requires 2 years of clinical experience, including recent acute care experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
