Foundation Health Partners (FHP) is looking for a Surgery Tech II to join the team! This position involves selecting and placing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgery. It includes scrubbing and providing instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during surgical procedures. The role also involves participating in the training and orientation of surgical technology staff and students, as assigned. Candidates should be proficient to scrub on a minimum of 2 surgical specialties. Pay & Benefits: Compensation:

Responsibilities: Preparing for surgical procedures, pulling instruments and supplies, ensuring good working order, reviewing case carts, troubleshooting equipment, and planning for upcoming cases. Anticipating surgeon needs, passing instruments, retracting tissue, operating equipment, and maintaining competency across surgical specialties. Demonstrating aseptic techniques, disposing of sharps and trash, participating in counts, and preparing instruments for cleaning. Ensuring accuracy of surgeon preference cards and pick lists. Assisting with OR turnover, stocking, replenishing supplies, and cleaning. Participating in or leading training and orientation of staff and students. Providing administrative support as needed. All functions are performed according to policies, procedures, regulations, and professional standards, aiming to deliver excellent service and uphold core and leadership behaviors daily. Qualifications: High school diploma/GED or equivalent, current BLS certification, and current certification as a surgical technologist. Registration with State Regulatory Agency where applicable. At least 2 years of OR experience, proficient scrubbing on at least 2 surgical specialties, manual dexterity, professionalism, organization, quick response, and ongoing professional development. Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program is highly preferred.
