A national law firm is seeking a Product Liability Litigation Associate to join its Los Angeles office. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with 2–4 years of experience handling complex product liability matters in both state and federal court. Duties
Defend clients in complex product liability litigation involving pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and consumer-facing products Manage all phases of litigation including: Discovery Depositions Hearings Trial preparation and participation (where applicable) Conduct legal research and draft analytical memoranda and pleadings Collaborate with a litigation team on multi-party matters Maintain effective client communication and case strategy Requirements
2–4 years of complex product liability litigation experience in a law firm setting Experience representing clients in both California state and federal courts Demonstrated experience with client defense in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer product industries preferred Trial or trial preparation experience is a plus Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials Certifications
Active and good standing member of the California State Bar (required) Skills
Outstanding legal research, writing, and analytical skills Strong verbal advocacy and litigation strategy capabilities Initiative and willingness to take ownership of client matters Ability to work collaboratively with a large legal team Strong organizational and time-management skills Inclusive and collaborative work culture that supports professional development Exposure to high-profile litigation matters in a nationally respected trial practice Company info
