We are hiring for a 6-month contract-to-hire (CTH) position, with the possibility of permanence for the right candidate. Are you the go-to person for help with code issues or performance problems? Do you have a library of resources ready to deploy at a moment's notice? Do you take pride in delivering bug-free releases with cutting-edge applications? If so, read on... The Team: Our client has challenged us to find the top 10% of technical talent in Denver to join their passionate, cross-functional development team. These professionals are dedicated to developing innovative applications to improve patient care. They focus on "What if?" rather than "What can we improve?" Your Role: You will work with a talented team of developers on full-stack development projects aimed at faster delivery, higher quality, and smoother processes. You will spend approximately 80% of your time on hands-on development, code reviews, and mentoring, with the remaining 20% on testing, deployment, and design work. Qualifications
Mandatory skills and qualities: Ability to produce clean, well-documented, and reliable code. Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL Server 2012. Experience with UI development, preferably with jQueryUI and/or Kendo UI. Experience with multiple web services. Experience mentoring developers, whether as a lead or senior, fostering problem-solving and self-discovery. Humility and curiosity, which are core to our culture. Intelligence, a can-do attitude, and good team rapport (no a-holes). Preferred but flexible: Experience beyond heads-down development, such as responsive UI design, automation testing, or personal projects. Experience in healthcare, if you enjoyed it.
