What you'll be doing:
Supporting healthcare information technology solutions related to Billing, Collection, and Patient Registration systems.
Working with users and technical staff to gather business and user requirements.
Understanding the business needs of internal customers.
Assisting in requirements gathering and project leadership.
Driving analysis, design, and development of solutions.
Writing detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and deployment steps.
Planning testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Collaborating closely with the IT management team.
Qualifications We want our people to be set up for success, so here are the required skills:
Experience with patient access/registration systems, insurance verification, treatment and medication authorization, EDI transaction sets (e.g., 270/271), and patient demographics.
6+ years as a Business/Systems Analyst on IT projects.
Experience with various software development life cycles (SDLC).
Healthcare industry experience is required.
Experience with Project Management methodologies.
Thorough understanding and experience with Requirements Management processes.
Experience with Change Control processes.
