ABOUT THE ROLE
The Cargo Operations Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials from rail cars, boats, and trucks. This position emphasizes operational accuracy and timely processing of requests.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Communicate effectively with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms, and suppliers to coordinate operations.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of grounds, offices, warehouse, and yard.
Perform loading and unloading tasks for both bulk and bagged materials using various transportation methods.
Operate mobile equipment and assist with routine mechanical maintenance.
Show commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Required Work Experience:
1-3 years Required Technical Skills:
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft programs; familiarity with SAP is preferred. Additional Requirements: Strong mechanical aptitude and skills. Professional and courteous interactions with customers. Knowledge of the construction industry and cement products is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including being clean shaven where needed for respirator fit. WHAT WE OFFER Competitive salary.
