At Henrico Doctors' Hospital, you play a vital role. Every position impacts our patients' lives, and we're seeking a dedicated Transitional Cardiac Patient Care Technician to join our compassionate team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist nursing staff in implementing care plans by performing direct and indirect patient care.
Accurately obtain and document patient information, including vital signs and admission details.
Support patient mobility through proper techniques and transfer procedures.
Assist in collecting diagnostic specimens, ensuring accuracy in labeling and handling.
Help patients with daily activities such as bathing and grooming, and maintain a clean environment.
Serve as a Monitor/Telemetry Technician when necessary.
Adopt best practices to improve patient experience and ensure safety and communication.
Qualifications:
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of starting.
CNA certification in Virginia preferred or completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
Previous experience in acute care settings is a plus.
