Pay Information $2,020 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent specialty experience required. License: Current state license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required. Must-Have: - Experience in general emergency department nursing, including adult and pediatric care. - Skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, and starting IVs. - Ability to obtain 12 lead EKG and administer emergency medications and IV vasopressors. - Experience managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Description: The Registered Nurse will be assigned to the emergency room, providing care to patients in a high-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for managing an average of 30 visits per day with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4 on all shifts. The role includes working every other weekend and holiday shifts as needed. The position requires the ability to float within the emergency service line. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential for success in this role. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide direct patient care to neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and adults. Appropriate measures must be taken to ensure compliance with facility guidelines and protocols.
