Position Title Office of International Education Work-Study Office Assistant
Purpose or role of this position at Morehouse
Work-Study Office Assistant
provides professional assistance to the staff and leadership team of OIE/AYCGL with a variety of tasks and projects that support the mission of Morehouse College, the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership, and the Office of International Education.
Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the coordination and execution of OIE/Study Abroad at campus-wide events, program-specific events, AYCGL events, campus visits, and others as assigned. Promote study abroad to the campus community via word-of-mouth, social media, on-campus outreach efforts, and other marketing initiatives, to include weekly tabling, class visits, and information sessions. Assist the OIE Staff with day-to-day tasks, including campus errands. Coordinate communication which may include taking calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with visitors to OIE and the AYCGL. Create event flyers and/or promotional materials using Canva. Create social media content and other digital content for OIE initiatives. Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents. Uphold a strict level of confidentiality. Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff, AYCGL leadership, faculty, students, campus visitors, and other campus stakeholders. Position Description Work-Study

General Qualifications
High school graduate. Currently enrolled at Morehouse College Specific Qualifications
Previous Morehouse College study abroad experience Previous experience in a professional office setting. Some experience presenting information to others. At least 6 months working on team projects. Some level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, CapCut, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Proficiency in following directions and collaborating with others to complete tasks. Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with proven multi-tasking abilities. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Proficient oral and written communication skills. Friendly and professional demeanor. Must adhere to confidentiality requirements as outlined by the OIE Staff. Must be punctual, reliable, and accountable with all assigned tasks and overall responsibilities.
Position Classification & Hourly Pay Rate Level 2 - $10.00 per hour
