Job Overview - Personal Lines Account Manager:
Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000/year + bonus
Location: Providence, RI
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Oversee and grow a portfolio of personal insurance accounts as a Personal Lines Account Manager with our client in Providence, RI (Hybrid). Manage policy servicing, renewals, and retention while selling homeowners, auto, umbrella, and recreational vehicle coverage. Provide top-tier customer support, using AMS360, PL Rater, and Microsoft Office to ensure accuracy, compliance, and retention success. Ideal for licensed professionals with personal lines expertise and strong account management skills.
Responsibilities as the Personal Lines Account Manager:
Account Servicing:
Manage a book of personal lines insurance, servicing accounts and identifying retention and cross-selling opportunities. Sales & Growth:
Sell personal insurance products such as home, auto, umbrella, and specialty coverage to meet annual sales goals. Policy & Compliance:
Maintain compliance with workflow manuals, approved Action Codes in AMS360, and complete open suspense's daily. Customer Service:
Deliver responsive, high-quality service, resolving coverage issues and ensuring policy accuracy. Collaboration & Documentation:
Work with underwriters, claims, and marketing teams while collecting payments, updating carrier sites, and documenting in AMS360. Qualifications for the Personal Lines Account Manager:
Licensure:
Active Property & Casualty license required. Experience:
3+ years of personal lines account management or insurance sales experience, preferably within an agency environment. Technical Skills:
Proficient in AMS360, PL Rater, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams). Industry Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of personal insurance products, including homeowners, auto, umbrella, and specialty policies, along with carrier underwriting guidelines. Skills & Attributes:
Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Application Notice:
