Responsibilities
Conducts all-source analysis of foreign defense industrial programs, infrastructure, and capabilities supporting a foreign country's ability to develop, equip, sustain, and employ its military forces across basic, strategic, and military industrial sectors. This includes assessing the research, development, acquisition, test, evaluation, and production of foreign weapon systems and equipment; their facilities and output levels; knowledge of emerging technologies; and supporting industrial supply networks from raw materials to finished weapon systems. Analysis includes but is not limited to overall industrial organization, production processes, industrial control systems, design and surge capacities, cooperative arrangements with foreign defense industries and reliance on foreign technologies. Performs independent technical analysis, applying experience with the characterization of complex target networks and conducts exploitation of networks. Provides assessments on the structures, dynamics, and functions of networks at small group and global levels, offering operational and strategic insights that can answer intelligence questions and direct collection efforts to close intelligence gaps. Performs research and analysis that enable organizations to identify terrorist threats and alert DoD forces, informs strategic decisions, supports operations and planning through network and target development, drives intelligence operations through collection support, and optimizes the intelligence enterprise. Conducts analysis using large volumes of disseminated, non-serialized intelligence, and databases to develop detailed network analyses. Researches weapons system supply chain networks (materials, components, subcomponents, people, etc.) to develop physical, logical, and financial networks. Identifies network vulnerabilities and drafts, establishes, supports, and maintains analytic network diagrams, link analyses, databases, and assessments. Provides input to all-source intelligence reports, presentations, special assessments, and technical studies. Provides input on key trends related to country-specific defense industrial supply chain programs to develop nodal analyses detailing supply chain networks. Identifies intelligence gaps and specific collection requirements. Briefs IC, senior policymakers/CCMD customers, and foreign partners on foreign defense industrial threats and trends. Collaborates in developing and strengthening substantive ties with other government organizations. Collaborates with other IC analysts on intelligence analysis and with collectors through analyst-assisted collection targeting. Requirements
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY. Desired experiences: At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 12 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
