About The Role We’re seeking a forward-thinking Corporate Counsel to join our Austin headquarters. In this role, you’ll provide strategic legal guidance on contracts, compliance, and emerging issues in autonomy, AI, and robotics. You’ll be at the center of groundbreaking work, advising on product liability, data privacy, and employment law, while helping us attract top global talent to power our innovation.
What You’ll Do
Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, vendor agreements (hardware, software, sensors), intellectual property licenses, and employment agreements.
Advise engineering, product, and business development teams on data privacy, product liability, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements affecting autonomous vehicles and robotics.
Support the preparation and review of employment agreements; assess legal risks in labor and employment matters.
Conduct legal research and develop practical, forward-looking solutions to novel challenges in autonomy and robotics.
What You’ll Need
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active bar license in good standing.
2–5 years of in-house corporate counsel experience, preferably in technology, software, hardware, or highly regulated industries.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver clear, actionable legal advice.
Passion for autonomous vehicles, robotics, AI, and emerging technologies.
Nice to Have
Experience with robotics, artificial intelligence, or automotive law.
Familiarity with global data protection and cybersecurity regulations.
Prior work on immigration or global mobility compliance.
Background in negotiating complex technology and IP agreements.
Candidates are required to be authorized to work in the U.S. The employer is not offering relocation sponsorship, and remote work options are not available.
