The Role We’re looking for a Growth Specialist/Manager, Lifecycle to build, test, and optimize high-performing email and nurture flows that move leads through the funnel to qualified, closed-won outcomes. This is a data-driven, execution-focused IC role that will sit at the center of our acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategy.
You’ll work closely with the RevOps, Referral, Tech teams to improve conversion through each stage of the lifecycle, from lead to call to client activation. You’ll be responsible for both the strategy and execution of lifecycle programs, including segmentation, creative testing, email performance, and measurement.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to own the funnel from the middle down, and isn’t afraid to experiment, analyze, and iterate fast.
What You’ll Do
Lifecycle Funnel Ownership: Build and manage email sequences across the full demand and supply funnels, including lead nurture, reactivation, onboarding, and retention.
Messaging Strategy: Own the voice and messaging cadence across automated flows. Test subject lines, offers, creative, and tone to drive response and engagement.
Segmentation & Personalization: Develop audience segments based on behavior, source, and stage to deliver targeted, relevant content.
Experimentation & Testing: Run experiments to improve email performance - open rates, clickthrough, reply rate, call booking, and activation.
Data-Driven Optimization: Partner with RevOps and CRO to uncover drop-off points, optimize timing, and improve journey cohesion across flows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Growth, Sales, Product, and CX to ensure seamless transitions between acquisition, nurture, and onboarding.
Reporting & Insights: Build clear dashboards and report on performance at the campaign and lifecycle level. Share insights and help shape funnel strategy.
Skills You Have
Lifecycle Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of lead nurture, email marketing, and activation across B2B or high-consideration funnels.
Campaign Execution: Proficient in building and managing email campaigns in HubSpot or similar tools (Braze, Customer.io, Marketo, etc.).
Testing & Optimization: Experienced in running A/B tests on subject lines, timing, CTAs, and copy to drive performance lift.
Segmentation Mastery: Comfortable designing dynamic segments and managing contact lifecycle logic across large databases.
Data Fluency: Strong analytical skills and ability to pull insights from dashboards, funnel reports, and email analytics.
Conversion Focus: Obsessed about getting leads to the next step, from re-engagement to completed call to signed client.
Copy & UX Sensibility: Able to write and iterate on emails quickly with a focus on clarity, tone, and value.
Execution Ownership: Highly self-directed, able to take an idea from concept to live test with minimal oversight.
Experience
5+ years in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or marketing automation at a high-growth tech company or agency
Proven experience managing full-funnel lifecycle programs that generate pipeline or revenue
Experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Ops, Product, or CX
Nice to Have
Familiarity with HubSpot, including workflows, email builders, lead scoring, and contact lifecycle management
Experience working with a product or service that involves human-in-the-loop operations (e.g. assistants, services, coaching)
