— NVIDIA is seeking an ASIC Design Engineer to join our Memory Subsystem Team. As an ASIC design engineer, you will design and implement coherent fabrics, ordering controllers and accelerators for Tegra SoCs. Your work will impact product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and AI. This is a role for a collaborative, globally distributed team focused on pushing the frontiers of computing platforms.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with architects, software engineers and circuit designers to deliver a world-class memory subsystem solution. Work on NVIDIA SOC interconnects, ordering controllers and accelerators, balancing area, latency, power, bandwidth and quality-of-service requirements.

Own micro-architecture and design tasks including RTL design, synthesis, functional verification and timing analysis using CAD tools and the latest process technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience); advanced degrees (MS, PhD) are a plus.

Relevant experience with high-speed coherent interconnects, protocol bridges, hardware-managed coherency and system-level caches.

Experience with multiple clock domains and asynchronous interfaces is a plus.

Knowledge of industry specifications such as CHI, AXI, CXL, PCIe is a plus.

Knowledge of DRAM controllers is a plus.

Strong working knowledge of Verilog or VHDL.

Familiarity with board and system-level issues.

Programming skills in C and/or Perl.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits Your base salary will be determined based on location and experience. The base salary ranges are:

Level 2: $108,000 – $184,000

Level 3: $136,000 – $212,750

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
