Client: DC govt Location: Washington, D.C (Onsite) Job Description:
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform. Responsibilities include maintaining and improving modules such as ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will work with product owners and stakeholders to build requested items and tasks using workflows, document and maintain business requirements, process flows, and use cases. Additional tasks include performing operational administrative duties, configuring and maintaining report and data integrations, and designing/developing forms, tables, workflows, and modules. Design and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, and Formatters. Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, security guidelines, and governance policies, maintaining an environment close to out-of-the-box. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers. Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) highly desired. Minimum 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in listed modules. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and scripting. Experience with update sets, promotion, testing, and deployment across instances. Knowledge of service management processes and procedures, including ServiceNow software. Additional Responsibilities:
Design, develop, debug, and implement software solutions. Troubleshoot production issues. Research and coordinate integration of new products based on client requirements. Address systems integration, compatibility, and platform issues. Collaborate with project teams and end users to identify requirements. Perform feasibility analysis for future projects. Evaluate and recommend application software and testing tools. Lead projects, instruct and oversee other developers, and develop user manuals. Minimum Education/Certification:
