Overview
Senior ServiceNow Developer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform, with focus on ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and to continually improve services.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software within ServiceNow.
Maintain and drive continual service improvements for ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM modules.
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to build items and tasks using workflows to meet business requirements.
Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows, and business use cases.
Perform operational administrative tasks as needed.
Assist with report configuration and maintenance, as needed.
Configure and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
Design and develop ServiceNow forms, tables, and modules.
Develop workflow/flow design to drive approvals and process lifecycles.
Design, create, and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, including advanced scripting for CMS/Service Portal.
Design, create, and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow.
Adhere to ServiceNow best practices and governance policies; maintain an as-close-to-out-of-the-box environment as possible.
Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends; identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages and testing tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
ServiceNow CAD or CIS certification highly desired.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in the modules listed above.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and scripting.
Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting, and testing through multiple instances into production.
Knowledge of service management processes and ServiceNow capabilities.
