The Client Solutions organization provides Data, Tech & Analytics leadership and serves as a trusted advisor to clients.


Position Overview


The Managing Director will oversee teams within and outside of Annalect who deliver data, tech and analytics solutions for our clients. Serve as the dedicated data, tech and analytics lead on client accounts, working in partnership with agency client leadership, acting as the trusted advisor for the client on data, tech & analytics topics.


Manages a team of Annalect only or Annalect + agency staff delivering the data, technology and operational excellence on the account by being the point of contact for the delivery of services across data, tech & analytics capabilities. Ensuring projects are properly scoped and funded by clients or internal teams to deliver quality results. Lastly, this role also includes driving growth in data, tech & analytics especially through strategy and advisory work that unlocks new scopes of work for OMG and OMC collaboration.


The MD will assume the account management responsibilities, which include leveraging internal expertise, market intelligence, and insights and experience to inform, advise and guide senior client leaders and media agency partners across a wide range of critical initiatives.


The Client Solutions team provides connectivity across Annalect areas of expertise, as well as agency partners throughout Omnicom, to facilitate and operationalize work across many focus areas and practices to ensure that Annalect is delivering high-quality work across all engagements. As an Account Director, you are collaborating closely with the Annalect cross-departmental leadership to advocate for client needs that are best supported by Annalect’s service and product offerings spanning across areas such as: Marketing Science, Data Operations, Ad Operations, MMM/MTA, Data Science, Personalized Creative, AdTech and DMP/Identity management. In this position, you will provide project guidance and strategic direction for cross functional teams and determine project priorities based on business objectives to deliver successful engagements for high-profile clients that are focused on data-driven marketing and measurement.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide agency data and tech expertise, account management and best practices to ensure timely and quality delivery of work for our clients

  • Serve as client and agency partner for direct insight, collaboration, feedback, escalation and ability to facilitate solutions and document outcomes

  • Navigate and facilitate delivery of client and internal requests across multiple disciplines and priorities, providing clear plans and recommendations to achieve objectives, weighing opportunity value, level of effort, scope and availability of resources

  • Oversee the implementation of recommendations/solutions, and the work quality for mutual success (Client & Agency)

  • Define and improve upon the Annalect practices for our clients’ business, ensuring a successful engagement with clients, and identifying/managing innovation and growth opportunities

  • Solidifying and broadening client relationships through proactively meeting with business stakeholders and other Annalect or partner-agency teams to drive and socialize concepts of data-driven planning and measurement.

  • Act as partner and representative across account leadership groups to enable effective communication, collaboration and feedback channels across disciplines and organizations to facilitate successful adoption and maintenance of cross-discipline processes, requirements and goals

  • As a leader: inspire, train and guide indirect reports


Required Skills And Qualifications



  • 20+ years of relevant experience in media and agency environments

  • Understanding of our industry and how technology & data will benefit our clients

  • Ability to prioritize effectively in an agile manner in a rapidly changing requirements environment with many competing demands

  • Proven track record of aggressively driving innovation

  • Strong client management skills

  • Global and/or cross-functional team management skills

  • Scoping/budgeting/staffing experience for large engagements

  • Operational and process-driven mindset to find/enhance efficiencies and effectiveness of practices iteratively and consistently

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • Analytical mind with problem solving capabilities and aptitude

  • Deep understanding of marketing/ad technology data and relationship to marketing processes

  • Excellent communications skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical background

  • Analytical, evaluative, and likes to solve problems

Compensation


This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.


Compensation Range: $175,000—$250,000 USD


This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
