Sonora Behavioral Health is Arizona's largest inpatient psychiatric hospital. We provide stabilization treatment of mental health and chemical dependency issues affecting children, adolescents, adults and active duty military personnel. We are experiencing growth as we move to open our final unit and have leadership opportunities available. Sonora Behavioral Health has an immediate need for a Chief Operating Officer to facilitate, direct and coordinate operational activities and programs relative to the day-to-day hospital operations of the Hospital.
Responsibilities
Chief Operating Officer responsibilities include facilitating, directing and coordinating operational activities and programs relative to the day-to-day hospital operations, delivering cost-effective and quality services. The COO provides strategic leadership as the patient care executive responsible for all patient care functions and patient services within the hospital.
Education/Experience/Skills
- Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Social Work or other related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years in an operations position with documented progressive leadership experience
- Current licensure or certification as required by discipline
