Overview
CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced senior-level Information Technology Enterprise Architect to support the IT mission of a large-scale government enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal applicant demonstrates knowledge and experience in organization processes and procedures specific to PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI, and will collect information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment.
Base pay range
$126,186.67/yr - $171,253.34/yr

Responsibilities
- Understand an organization’s technologies and work with leaders to collect information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and senior-level IT competency, with strong oral and written communication skills and knowledge of PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI.
- Apply experience with EA frameworks (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF) to provide a holistic view of the enterprise for system owners, planners, designers, developers, and subcontractors within budget constraints.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Windows desktop applications, remote access, SQL Server, VMware, EMC, SAN storage, Cloud services, BroadWorks, Polycom, BlackBerry, Apple iOS, information security, wireless technologies, and networking.
- Utilize ITIL, PMI, Agile, and change/configuration management practices in project delivery.
- Provide technical engineering practices recommendations and enhancements from prior successful system integrations.
- Communicate effectively and work independently with minimal guidance.
Qualifications
- Experience across enterprise architecture and IT infrastructure planning; ability to engage with leadership to gather requirements and translate them into strategic IT investment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI.
- Knowledge of EA frameworks (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF) and ability to provide holistic enterprise views for stakeholders.
- Demonstrated engineering experience with Windows environments, virtualization (VMware), storage (EMC, SAN), cloud services, and related technologies.
- Understanding of IT governance, change control, and configuration management processes.
- Ability to provide engineering recommendations from integration engagements.
Ideal/Preferred
- VMware server and VDI experience; PKI knowledge; Windows Server histories (e.g., Windows 2003 Terminal Server, Windows 2008R2).
- Experience with Cisco UCS, BroadWorks, Polycom, BlackBerry, iOS, and Android OS.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; ITIL and CISSP certifications.
