Overview
Infosys is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Domain Consultant. You will be a key player in the consulting team. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX / Raleigh, NC / Indianapolis, IN / Hartford, CT / Tempe, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

- Relevant experience as a domain or business consultant, or a Business Analyst or an industry practitioner in manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in at least one industry segment, such as Heavy Machinery, Turbo Machinery equipment, Engines, Power Turbines & Generators, Construction & Farm machinery equipment, Medical & Imaging Diagnostic equipment, Transmission & Distribution Equipment, HVAC & Smart buildings, Elevators & Escalators.
- Demonstrates strong proficiency across the industry value chain and related best practices.
- Experience in any one of the metrics-Industrial software (MES, SCADA, PLM, MII, ERP, CRM, SRM, etc.), including configuration parameters to implement multiple functionalities meeting business and non-functional requirements; knowledge of Niche/Boutique Product Information Management or Master Data Management products; IT Risk Management and knowledge of frameworks like COBIT or certification in CISA or experience with GRC tools such as RSA Archer, MetricStream, etc.
- Expertise in functional areas such as Sourcing, Procurement, Planning, Production, Sales & AfterSales, Logistics, Dealer Management, etc.
- Familiarity with digital themes such as IoT/IIoT, Smart Manufacturing, Supplier Collaboration, and Customer Experience Management.
- Hands-on full-cycle implementation of digital solutions in roles such as Product Owner/Product Manager, Functional SME/Lead; Product and Program management skills.
- Ability to build executive connections and drive end-to-end client services.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret client business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Experience in driving meetings/workshops with senior client executives, business leads and cross-functional stakeholders, and articulating project documents clearly.
- Exposure to outsourcing and offshoring work models is preferred.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. The ability to communicate by telephone, email or face-to-face is required. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
