Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions as a department of one . This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building and maintaining a strong organizational culture. You will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support business goals, while managing day-to-day HR operations independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Build talent pipelines and maintain relationships with external recruiters.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
- Process weekly payroll and relevant reports
- Administer payroll and benefits programs.
- Evaluate and recommend compensation structures and benefit enhancements.
Performance Management
- Design and manage performance review processes.
- Support managers in setting goals and providing feedback.
- Coach and train managers on performance management
- Provide performance steps, recommendations, including improvement plans, and separation
Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR documentation.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Advise leadership on HR best practices, compliance, and workforce planning.
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Generate reports and metrics to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist, business partner, or standalone role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification.
- Experience in a small to mid-sized company or startup environment.
- Familiarity with change management and organizational development.
