Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions as a department of one . This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building and maintaining a strong organizational culture. You will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support business goals, while managing day-to-day HR operations independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Build talent pipelines and maintain relationships with external recruiters.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
  • Process weekly payroll and relevant reports
  • Administer payroll and benefits programs.
  • Evaluate and recommend compensation structures and benefit enhancements.

Performance Management

  • Design and manage performance review processes.
  • Support managers in setting goals and providing feedback.
  • Coach and train managers on performance management
  • Provide performance steps, recommendations, including improvement plans, and separation

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR documentation.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Advise leadership on HR best practices, compliance, and workforce planning.

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Generate reports and metrics to support decision-making.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist, business partner, or standalone role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification.
  • Experience in a small to mid-sized company or startup environment.
  • Familiarity with change management and organizational development.
