American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience and BLS certification for a hospital-based outpatient role.Job Details•Primarily hospital-based outpatient PT setting with potential to flex into the inpatient musculoskeletal rehab unit,•Patient caseload is typically 8 to 10 patients per day,•Patient population ranges from juveniles (age 5+) to geriatrics with common diagnoses such as total joints, back/shoulder/foot pain, and some neurological cases including TBI, stroke, and Parkinson's,•Uses CPSI for electronic medical records; experience with CPSI preferred but not required,•Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, closed 12-1pm for lunch,•Weekend rotation required (approximately 1 in every 5 weekends) covering inpatient units,•May be included in the holiday rotation,•Business casual (collared shirt and khaki/black pants) or solid colored scrubs are required as dress code,Job Requirements•Active PT state license required; license required if applicable,•Current BLS certification required,•Minimum of 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required; inpatient-only experience will also be considered,•Must be comfortable treating a mixed patient population including orthopedic and some neurological cases,Additional Information•Primary duties include comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, delivering skilled interventions, and documenting services per legal and reimbursement standards,•Responsible for patient and family education and coordination of care with other healthcare providers,•Supported by a team that includes 2 Physical Therapist Assistants,•Department-specific orientation provided with 1-2 shifts alongside a preceptor,•First-time travelers are welcome and will be considered for this role,),•hash,:• ,
