American Traveler is seeking an experienced Neuro ICU RN with Epic proficiency and prior neuro and large Level 1/2 facility experience.Job Details•Position is in a Neuro ICU unit at a large hospital,•Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (18:45-07:15), with option for four 12-hour shifts by request,•Assignment length of 13 weeks, extendable up to 52 weeks by request,•Patient population includes stroke, neurosurgery, neuro-specific diagnoses, complications, and complex spine cases,•Special procedures include EVDs and therapeutic thermoregulation,•Epic EMR system is used and experience is required,Job Requirements•Active RN license required,•Previous neuro ICU experience required,•Experience in large Level 1 or Level 2 facility required,•Epic EMR experience required,•Two professional references needed for consideration,•Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered as travelers,•Candidates 50-99.9 miles away may be considered for a single 13-week assignment with no extension eligibility,•Candidates less than 50 miles away may be considered for a single 13-week assignment at a lower travel rate with no extension eligibility,•Previous employees must have a one-year separation before returning; restrictions apply after 365 days worked as a traveler,Additional Information•Responsibilities include providing nursing care to neuro ICU patients including post-stroke, neurosurgical, and complex spinal cases,•Required to work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment, and two holidays for winter assignments (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve/New Year's),•Orientation modules must be completed within the first 24 hours of onboarding; up to 5 hours allowed for orientation and 2 hours for Epic,•Team environment in a high-acuity neuro ICU,•Floating may be required based on clinical experience,•Return policy applies for previous employees and restrictions exist for length of travel assignments,•No local candidates accepted unless specified exceptions are met,),•hash,:• ,
