Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a colorectal surgical outpatient clinic, requiring Epic proficiency and outpatient clinic experience.Job Details•Work in an outpatient colorectal surgical clinic setting,•Ambulatory consults, post-operative care, and follow-up for colorectal diagnoses with a heavy oncology patient volume,•Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM,•13-week assignment,•Epic EMR experience is required,Job Requirements•Active RN license, either Compact or VA single state (not from a Compact state treated as single state),•Current BLS (AHA) certification required,•Prior RN experience in an outpatient clinic setting is required,•Experience with Epic charting is required,•2 professional references must be provided for consideration,•Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not accepted,Additional Information•Daily responsibilities include managing ambulatory consults, post-op patients, and oncology-heavy colorectal cases,•May be required to work at least one holiday per assignment, or two during the winter holiday season,•Previous employees must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler,•Return restrictions apply for travelers based on length of previous assignment and time away,•Standard modules and Epic training may be required during orientation,•Orientation modules may be completed pre-start or during orientation, with hours recorded by facility,•Exceptions for eligibility and extension based on traveler's distance from facility and prior assignments,),•hash,:• ,
