Travel RN - Med/Surg - Oncology

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night Oncology Med/Surg unit position that requires advanced chemotherapy certification and telemetry competency.Job Details•Work in a 32-bed adult oncology telemetry unit within a hospital setting,•Patient population includes adults with medical oncology needs, palliative or end-of-life care, and chemotherapy administration,•Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including every other weekend,•Orientation may occur on day shift,•Floating to other med/surg units required as needed,•May provide care for COVID patients,•Uses EPIC EMR; prior experience with EPIC is required,Job Requirements•Active RN license with no findings or restrictions,•Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in a relevant clinical setting,•ONS/ONCC Advanced Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification required,•Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required,•Chemo certification required,•Competency in telemetry required,•EPIC charting experience required,•Must complete facility modules prior to start,•Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per contract,•Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility for travel role eligibility,Additional Information•Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and palliative care,•Potential to care for COVID patients in the unit,•Facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance free environment,•Holiday coverage is required as needed,•Pre-assignment screening and interviews are part of the selection process,•Pairs are allowed but matched schedules cannot be guaranteed,),•hash,:• ,
