Travel RN - Medical ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring recent Epic experience and multiple advanced certifications.Job Details•Position is in a 6-bed Medical ICU within a 100-bed hospital,•Patient population includes adults with medical, surgical, and cardiac needs, as well as pediatric medical cases,•Night shift schedule, working 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00,•Travelers will be required to float to other units as needed,•Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required,Job Requirements•Active RN license (Compact or TN) in hand at time of application,•Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required,•Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS,•Epic charting experience within the last 12 months is required and must be demonstrated,•Must provide two professional references,•All certifications must be valid and current for consideration,•Must pass competency exam for Epic (one attempt only),•Men must shave to pass respiratory Fit Test,Additional Information•Responsible for providing medical, surgical, and cardiac critical care to adults and medical care to pediatric patients,•Mandatory floating to other units based on clinical experience as needed,•Orientation will include up to 10 additional unbillable hours if Epic EMR experience requirements are not met,•No block scheduling or specific schedule requests will be considered,•Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers,•Return travelers are allowed with review,•Must submit all requested time off (RTO) at the time of application; additional requests will not be approved,),•hash,:• ,
