The Test Scheduling Includes But Is Not Limited To
- Vehicle tailpipe emissions,
- evaporative emissions,
- fuel economy,
- on-board diagnostic functionality and electrical systems efficiency testing.
- The position Supervises twelve driver mechanics, nine chassis dynamometer test cells, two evaporative SHED's, 30-50 tests per day/shift, and manages vehicle refueling/charging with 150+ vehicle management (soaking) area.
- The Scheduler will interact with requesting engineers to provide high quality test results, safely, and efficiently. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Basic Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Technical field
- Minimum 3 years experience in testing management or supervision with emphasis on Vehicle emissions or powertrain systems
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Dedicated and well organized
- Strong computer skills - experience with MS Office
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends to support critical program timing
- BS Degree or equivalent
- General understanding of vehicle powertrain and exhaust after treatment
- Experience with vehicle emissions testing and with conventional emission analyzers (HC, CO, CO2, NOx and CH4)
- Experience working in a union environment
- Local candidate within a 30 minute commute to Chelsea
