Talent Acquisition Manager

Responsibilities

Manage a Talent Acquisition team across 5 boroughs (specifically Staten Island, Hicksville, Bronx, Hudson Valley, and White Plains), ensuring recruitment processes align with the needs of healthcare networks and unit goals. Collaborate closely with the Assistant Director to address compliance or operational issues and uphold a safe, productive work environment. Ensure that Talent Acquisition Specialists effectively support recruitment efforts across multiple healthcare networks. Create and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract healthcare professionals and meet employer demands across the 1199 networks. Use iCIMS (CRM/ATS) to manage job postings, vacancies, and candidate tracking. Monitor recruitment pipelines, recommend process improvements, and optimize workflows to enhance productivity and fill rates. Build and maintain strategic relationships with healthcare employers (e.g., Montefiore, Presbyterian, Northwell). Engage with external stakeholders, including labor and management representatives, to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies with employer expectations. Supervise and mentor Talent Acquisition Specialists, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback. Support the Assistant Director in identifying staffing needs, making recommendations for additional hires, and leading onboarding processes for new team members. Drive continuous development for team members to align recruitment efforts with current industry trends and best practices. Work closely with the Assistant Director on strategic goals, recruitment metrics, and employer engagement initiatives. Assist with performance reviews, address disciplinary matters as needed, and ensure Talent Acquisition team alignment with unit objectives. Generate reports on placement outcomes, retention rates, and employer satisfaction to inform leadership. Track, analyze, and report on recruitment performance metrics, including job placements, time-to-fill, and candidate satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to support continuous improvement in recruitment operations and to enhance employer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum five(5) years of recruitment or talent acquisition and two (2) years of supervisory experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Planner). Knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and talent pipelines. Familiarity with ATS systems like iCIMS and data analytics tools. Experience in healthcare or unionized environments. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities. Willingness to travel throughout the five boroughs, Hudson Valley and Long Island as needed to support recruitment and placement activities. Bilingual skills preferred
