Job Description

Client is on the lookout for an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to help lead a major Agile transformation initiative in Washington, DC. As a key player in this journey, youll act as a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART), guiding multiple Agile teams to deliver real value with consistency and alignment to enterprise goals.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Drive the preparation of the ART backlog and event logistics
  • Facilitate in-person, two-day PI Planning events
  • Ensure every plan aligns with enterprise strategy and OKRs
PI Execution Support
  • Track and analyze ART flow metricsvelocity, predictability, cycle time
  • Champion DevOps and continuous delivery practices
  • Coordinate backlog refinement and cross-ART collaboration
  • Help Business Owners define and deliver business value
Coaching the ART
  • Provide hands-on guidance to Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Architects, and Business Owners
  • Use powerful questions to inspire team growth and self-improvement
  • Lead ART-level events while staying true to SAFe principles
  • Implement pull systems and monitor flow metrics
  • Lead value stream mapping sessions and reduce cross-team dependencies
  • Always look for ways to increase the flow of value
Driving Relentless Improvement
  • Facilitate TeamHealth assessments and Inspect & Adapt events
  • Advocate for built-in quality and align with Lean-Agile transformation efforts
