Travel Nurse Job Details Location: Berlin, Vermont (05602) - Vermont healthcare jobs Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2520-$2700 Healthcare Setting: Women and Children's Unit (Labor & Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum, LDRP) Assignment Length: 4 weeks (8/21/2025 - 9/21/2025) Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a); every other weekend required Hours per Week: 36 Call: 2 x 12-hour call shifts in a rolling 2 pay period timeframe Holiday Coverage: Must work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day) Floating: Required as helping hands within the organization (no patient assignment) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - Vermont RN jobs Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience, including LDRP in a community hospital Current BLS and NRP certifications (required) ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), and STABLE certifications preferred Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required) Experience as a baby nurse at delivery, neonatal resuscitation, APGAR scoring, and newborn medication administration Prior travel nursing experience preferred Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible) All-season or snow tires required November-April L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care for laboring mothers, newborns, and postpartum patients in an LDRP environment Independently manage all aspects of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum care Assist with newborn care, including neonatal resuscitation, APGAR scoring, and medication administration Perform IV starts, lab draws, PACU care post C-section, and removal of epidural catheters Utilize electronic fetal monitors, smart pumps, and Mindray cardiac monitors Document patient care using Epic and Philips Intellispace; manage medications via Pyxis Float as needed to assist other units within the healthcare organization (no patient assignments) Participate in call shifts, weekend, and holiday rotations as scheduled Adhere to unit dress code (light blue scrubs provided), infection control, and safety protocols Apply now to join our Vermont nursing team and experience a fulfilling travel nurse job in Berlin!
