Description

We have an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in our Parsippany facility to assist with managing tasks related to outbound and inbound order processing while ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.
Key Job Functions:
•Properly verifying all incoming shipments by counting the contents, noting its description, and signing the proper paperwork.
•Verifying accuracy of received items by comparing the information on the packing slips with the purchase orders.
•Unloading incoming shipments and materials; rejects damaged items, and records shortages
•Receiving all purchase orders into ERP system (Deacom) utilizing scanners
•Distributing contents received into the right locations and/or the requisitioning department
•Loading outbound shipments and ensures proper product is being shipped
•Coordinating shipping documents.
•Preparing bill of ladings; checks items to be shipped against work orders to confirm that quantities, destination, and routing are correct
•Assisting with contacting LTL carriers for daily pick-ups
•Assisting with routing customer orders through vendor portals and requesting shipping labels
•Processing all customer ASNs
•Assisting with processing documents for International Orders (Invoices, Certificate of Origin, etc.)
•Posting Chep Pallet transactions for shipped orders
•Tracking LTL/Truckload freight in transit for inbound/outbound shipments as requested
•Processing returns for all Truckload/LTL customer orders and notifies Shipping and Receiving Manager of returns
•Submitting BOL & tracking confirmation for all UPS & FedEx orders daily to order entry & accounts receivable
•Preparing shipped BOLs for billing clerk (provide copies in overnight, via email, etc.)
•Assisting with other warehousing/production duties as needed
•Maintaining receiving/ shipping dock area is clean and organized
•Ensuring items are being properly recycled in accordance to EFP Sustainability policies
•Handles other special projects and requests, as needed
Requirements
Requirements
In order to be successful, you will need:
•At least one-to-two-years' experience in shipping and receiving in a production environment
•Forklift certification
•Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office as well as ERP systems
•Ability to safely lift bottles, boxes, tools, equipment, and other necessary items
•Ability to multi-task and supervise shipping and receiving department
•Ability to manage time effectively
•Detail oriented with the ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions
