Job Title: Registered Nurse

Candidates must have completed 2-3 travel assignments.
Candidates must have 2-3 years of Emergency Room experience.
Description:
The unit consists of 27 beds and has a staff of 50 RNs and 25 medics.
During the day shift, there is 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics.
The day shift increases by 4-5 RNs at 11 AM and by 1-2 RNs at 3 PM.
During the night shift, there is 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics.
The patient-to-nurse ratios are 4-6:1.
The unit uses EMR - Meditech.
Ideal candidates will have experience in high acuity and fast-paced environments.
Typical procedures performed in the unit include RSI, sepsis interventions, and stroke protocols with tPA administration.
Other procedures include central line placement, care of psych patients, and transfers to other facilities.
The best personality fit is relaxed, easy-going, friendly, team-oriented, and respectful.
Weekends require four weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) within a four-week scheduling period.
