As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and capable Director of Operations to join our leadership team.

Position Summary:

Were looking for a highly experienced, grounded, and motivated individual who gets it, wants it, and is fully capable of stepping into a pivotal leadership role. The Director of Operations will oversee field operations, project scheduling, resource planning, and ensure our crews deliver high-performance results across multiple disciplinesincluding asphalt & concrete paving, subgrade stabilization, underground utilities, and seal coating.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct and manage all field operations across multiple active job sites

Lead and support field crews, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards

Coordinate project scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation

Work closely with estimators, project managers, and ownership to ensure seamless project execution

Maintain and improve internal systems for tracking progress, budgets, and jobsite communication

Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Uphold AAA Pavings reputation for quality, reliability, and integrity

Qualifications:

Minimum 7+ years of experience in civil construction (asphalt, concrete, or related fields)

Proven leadership and field management experience

Strong understanding of job costing, scheduling, and operations management

Exceptional organizational and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Stable work history and commitment to long-term growth

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Must be based in or willing to relocate to the greater Houston area
