Must have an understanding of punch beds and tool sets. Be able to safely use all hand tools required. Must have knowledge of the hand layout process to produce parts. Reads and interprets blueprints to determine the safest and most efficient way for the operator to perform the job; and sets up the machinery to produce quality parts. Makes all necessary machine adjustments required to guarantee the parts are dimensionally within tolerance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Set up, adjust, and safely operate CNC press brakes to form metal partsRead and interpret prints to determine safe and efficient methods for setup and operationCreate bending programs and edit files as needed to maintain production accuracyUse hand layout processes and apply knowledge of punch beds, tool sets, and metal alloy formability to ensure quality partsMake necessary machine adjustments to maintain dimensional tolerances within specified limitsPerform work according to production schedules to meet timelinesRig and safely move parts and weldments as requiredFollow company safety policies, procedures, and use required PPEOther duties as assignedQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
