The ideal candidate will perform technical procedures, contribute to the clinical evaluation and care of patients, and ensure a safe and positive experience for those undergoing CT imaging. Key Responsibilities: - Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic imaging for a variety of patient scenarios, including trauma cases, outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), and specialized CT-guided procedures.- Collaborate with the Medical Director, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist to deliver high-quality patient care.- Maintain adherence to radiation safety protocols in compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations.- Support teaching and continuous learning initiatives to adapt to evolving technology in the field.- Provide exceptional patient care while ensuring a comfortable environment during imaging procedures. Minimum Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School; high school diploma required.- Licensure & Certification: - New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in the State of New York. - Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers.- Experience: Limited or no experience required; entry-level position. MIT Level will be assigned based on skill set and experience. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: - Strong technical skills in operating CT imaging equipment.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and healthcare teams.
