Press Brake Setup Operator 1st Or 2nd Shift

Pay: $27$33/hour Schedule: MondayThursday (4-day workweek)

About the Role

We're hiring a skilled Press Brake Setup Operator to join our team in a precision-focused fabrication shop. You'll be responsible for setting up and operating various press brakes, including Cincinnati models, working with sheet metal ranging from 20 gauge to 3/8". This role offers a mix of long and short run jobs and requires a strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machines, including Cincinnati models
  • Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T practices for accurate fabrication
  • Handle both long-run and short-run jobs daily
  • Maintain tolerances within +/-1 degree
  • Assist with preventative maintenance of fabrication equipment

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in press brake setup
  • Proficiency in GD&T and blueprint reading
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong attendance record and solid references

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in precision sheet metal fabrication
  • Familiarity with car-type mechanical systems
