JOB SUMMARYThisposition exists to support the ministries of CBC by providing excellent audioexperiences in gatherings and events, equipping and empowering volunteers toshare in that work, developing a rounded production competency bycross-training in the other disciplines (lighting/video), and leveragingtechnology to help others see and experience God more clearly.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made toenable individuals with disabilitiesto perform the essential functions.•Steward the liveaudio experience for weekend and mid-week gatherings and events•Operate audio mixingconsoles that span a wide gamut of size, function, and infrastructure (AvidS6L, Midas Pro 6, Yamaha DM7, Midas M32)•Demonstrate highknowledge of complex signal flows across multiple venues throughout our campus •Serve the ministriesand leadership of our house with a positive and collaborative mindset,exercising high honor in every interaction•Assist marketing andcreative teams with creating professional audio for content created forgatherings and events•Maintain a steady rhythmof professional development as the production technology landscape evolves •Adapt to fast-pacedenvironments with excellence-not perfection-as the ultimate goal•Live mixing:navigate dense processing to translate clarity and musicality to the audioexperience•Ear training:discern and identify frequencies with advanced precision; creatively employindustry- standard practices to translate the vision for our gatherings to ourcongregation •Technical literacy:demonstrate high knowledge of hardware and software pertinent to audioproduction (audio consoles, DAWs, microphones, signal processors); occasionallyperform minor equipment repairs•Composure: exerciseequanimity in high pressure environments and when troubleshooting issues•Flexibility/HighCapacity: ability to adapt to changing tasks with reasonable efficiency;perform multiple projects at once•Other duties asassignedCOMPENTENCIES•Possess strongcommunication skills in the English language (verbal and written)•An excellent eventproducer who sees the big picture clearly•Ability to maintainprofessional relationships•Possess strongattention to detail•Knowledge of audio,video, and lighting systems•Must possessintermediate computer skills using applications such as Ableton, ProPresenter, PVP•Ability toprioritize work, meet deadlines, work independently, multitask, and produceresults in a high stress environment•Excellent developerof people with experience developing staff and volunteers•A thoughtful leaderwho makes decisions that reflect the vision and values of the organization•A forward-thinkingcreative who has the pulse on what is next in the world of productionPOSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis isa full-time position. Days and hoursof operation are scheduled any time Saturday -Wednesday. Working weekends andevenings will be required as job duties demand. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWhileperforming the duties of this job, the employee maybe regularly required to do the following:•Must have goodor corrected vision as well as effective peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus•Must have good manual dexterity and be able to use repetitive motionof the hands and arms•Mustbe able to remain in a stationary position for extended periodsof time•Must be able to liftup to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs; able to sit/stand for extended times•Mustbe able to frequently and effectively communicatein both written and verbal form•Ability to workcollaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels ofthe organizationEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE•Highschool Diplomaor GED (required)•5 years ofproduction staff leadership preferredWORK ENVIRONMENTDuties are performed in an officesetting where the work and general environmentmaybe fast-paced and hectic at times. Therefore, itis essential that the employee can effectively handle the normal anxietiesassociated withthe job and manage multiple projects in service-orientedenvironment.
