This position requires a skilled professional capable of performing advanced imaging procedures and contributing to the high-quality patient care we deliver. Responsibilities: - Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to established protocols and safety standards.- Administer contrast media as required for various studies.- Conduct drainage studies, fluoroscopy, trauma studies, and special procedures, including guided biopsies.- Provide assistance with venipuncture and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care to patients of all ages.- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the MedHost (HMS) and Med Informatics EHR systems.- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols within the department. Qualifications: - Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.- Current ARRT certification plus a CT credential to practice as a CT Technologist in New Mexico.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray imaging.- Must possess BLS certification.- Ability to work with medical equipment such as GE Optima 660 and GE XR.- Familiarity with patient care across a diverse population, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients. Working Conditions: - Weekly guaranteed hours: 36- Weekend hours: Every other weekend/as needed.- Call requirements as needed.- Must be able to float between X-Ray and CT as required.
