Welder/FabricatorJob DescriptionThis position requires you to produce finished welded parts from design packages, managing jobs from fit-up to completion, and ensuring high-quality results.ResponsibilitiesFabricate and fit-up welded parts.Perform MIG welding using FCAW and GMAW techniques.Interpret and execute tasks based on blueprint reading and weld symbols.Fit-up and weld pipe and pressure vessels.Fabricate pipe including miter, weld preparation, and fishmouth.Visually inspect welds for imperfections.Pass NDE examinations on welds, such as PT tests.Grind weld preps and surfaces prior to welding.Collaborate effectively under the supervision of the Welding Supervisor.Work independently or in small teams to complete tasks within the required time frame.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG welding techniques.Ability to read and understand weld symbols and drawings.Vocational training in welding, preferably ASME certified.Capability to pass ASME 1G GMAW P1 and 1G FCAW P1/P8 weld exams.Valid driver's license.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in grinding and using tape measures.Ability to visually check welds for imperfections and perform NDE examinations.Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.Why Work Here?Join a supportive team that values your skills and provides opportunities for growth and professional development.
