Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced self-driven Product professional to join our growing Product team. As an integral part of the Product team, you will partner with the Product Manager to understand the product roadmap. You will create a functional breakdown of the roadmap items into feature/user story level requirements in order to hydrate the product backlog. You will prioritize the requirements in alignment with the product roadmap, groom the requirements with the technology team, work with the design/engineering teammates to track requirements through the Agile delivery process.
You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savviness that includes understanding the big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality.
Communications skills are key to success in this role. You will translate the company’s high-level vision and goals into actionable tasks. You will help prioritize features, and coordinate product schedules with your design and engineering teammates.
Compile key adoption, engagement and business performance metrics to support product and business leadership decisions.
Assist in discovery of new ideas to assess/define the problem statement, the benefit hypothesis and adherence to the strategic vision.
Interface with key stakeholders, including sales, business ops users/managers, engineering and support organizations, to define, develop, shape and refine requirements of a complex software product at the heart of the company’s business.
Collaborate with the Design team to produce prototypes, mockups for idea validation and business requirements.
Breakdown epic/feature level requirements into actionable user stories.
Groom user stories with the engineering team and provide clarifications on requirements.
Represent the product team during the sprint planning exercise for upcoming iteration.
Collaborate with the engineering and delivery leads to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of committed features on a roadmap.
Coordinate UAT of stories committed for a release and get business signoff on the release features.
Manage user reported issues through the complete issue resolution lifecycle.
Conduct user trainings, draft release notes and help drive product engagement.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
University degree, preferably in business, information systems, marketing, computer science, or other relevant areas.
7+ years of related experience as a Product Analyst/Product Owner, preferably in the real estate industry.
Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Experience in Agile development and writing user stories.
Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Miro, Lucid, etc.
Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information.
Extensive experience in defining, refining and prioritizing the product backlog aligned with the product roadmap.
Experience with Accounting or CRM systems.
Experience with best practice agile scrum development and lean startup principles.
Experience driving stakeholder discussions, demonstrations and sticking to the desired agenda to produce expected outcomes.
Experience training business users.
Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%) within the US.
CSPO/PSPO Certification preferred, not required.
