POSITION DETAILS

Reporting HRIS Manager, the Human Resources Information System Coordinator's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Serve as point-of-contact and resource to departments regarding non-tax levy appointments, reappointments, Supplements, and onboarding including providing information on relevant policies, procedures, and regulations Work closely with HR, Payroll, Financial Accounting, and the Foundation for City College to ensure accurate and timely processing of non-tax levy (NTL) appointments, supplements, and payments Review, track, and provide interested parties with updates regarding NTL Supplement Requests and Disbursement Request Forms to Financial Accounting for payroll processing. Using CUNYfirst to confirm active tax levy appointments and NTL appointment history Liaise with Payroll to confirm completion of NTL payments, verify the necessity of new hire paperwork, and maintain timely follow-up for outstanding documentation. Monitor and notify departments of appointment expirations and relevant deadlines. Conduct NTL information sessions, educating departments on compliance requirements, deadlines, and process changes related to NTL supplements. Conduct data tracking for Full-Time HR actions such as hires, terminations, leaves, and adjustments, providing consistent, up-to-date information for workforce planning. Support compliance monitoring by integrating collective bargaining agreements, including RIP payments, Longevities, salary adjustments, and service increments within HRIS. Audit HR systems, including CUNYfirst and shadow systems, to ensure data accuracy and correct any discrepancies in compliance with budget and payroll policies. Collaborate with the HRIS Manager to implement new auditing tools, continuously update combination codes, and maintain alignment with payroll and budget requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree required.

Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to be proactive and work both independently and as part of a team. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to prioritize assignments, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Advanced proficiency with the MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. - Familiarity with Adobe tools for creating documents, forms, or presentations.

- Prepares and executes various personnel transactions involving employee recordkeeping, processing of new hires, pay administration, and recruiting

- Maintains an understanding of policies, procedures, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements relevant to human resources

- Organizes and processes employee information; develops and maintains reports and queries; assures data accuracy and completeness

- Responds to requests for information; troubleshoots issues, follows up and responds to employee inquiries

- Assists HR managers with employee communications of all kinds; may prepare materials, conduct orientation sessions, or update web pages

- Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary Range: $74,754 - $84,815. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
