- 10 mo., 7.5 hours
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsibilities of this job include executing tasks and duties associated with business matters of the District.
SUPERVISOR:
Principal
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must possess the following qualifications: Ability to accurately type a minimum of 50 words per minute Applicants MUST have qualifying score on file, or they MUST request to take required test prior to the closing of the bid Working knowledge of and experience with computers including the district Skyward or equivalent, Word and Excel Ability to accurately maintain payroll and attendance data Ability to perform clerical functions accurately in record keeping, reporting and filing Ability to work with and relate to elementary children in a positive manner Ability to interact with public, employees, students and parents in a positive manner on the telephone and in person Ability to maintain confidentiality of program and student records Ability to meet deadlines Ability to take initiative concerning job responsibilities Ability to accurately maintain detailed statistics and records Ability to work under occasionally stressful situations Excellent reliability ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet visitors to the building Maintain accurate payroll for all support personnel and certificated personnel including substitutes, extra pay duties and overtime Distribute inner-school and U. S. mail Prepare and distribute all newsletters Order and maintain records of all school supplies Assist with organization of school budget Organize beginning and ending school year processes Type correspondence, memos, reports, appraisals and other correspondence for the principal Type work orders, purchase orders and supply requisitions Maintain student data on the computer Handle book fees, revolving fund account and bank deposits Schedule staffing's for teachers and principal, also parent/teacher conference Record fire and disaster drills Monitor distribution and return of films, A.V. equipment and other teaching aids Ability to operate office equipment, (i.e., duplicating and thermofax machines) Maintain active and inactive student files Manage student enrollments/withdrawals and student records Prepare all necessary reports for the principal Other duties as assigned by the building principal
