This is a Direct Hire opportunity
Pay : $17.00 - $24.00 an hour depending on experience Hours : 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday (OT Available)
Job Overview:
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be essential in the manufacturing process, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and expertise in operating press brake machines. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your role involves precision machining and quality inspection, ensuring that components meet production specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate press brake machine to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup and production requirements. Measure and inspect completed parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. Perform routine maintenance on press brake machine to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process. Operate forklift to transport materials and finished products within the facility. Program job specifications into the press brake machine controls to ensure precise bending operations. Assist with other manufacturing tasks such as welding, stamping press operation, tooling assembly, and laser cutting as needed. Skills and Qualifications:
Experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders. Strong knowledge of press brake machine operation and setup procedures. Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with stamping press operation, tooling assembly, laser cutting, and GD&T principles is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
