The library has a variety of volunteer opportunities that include:
Book Discussion Groups Teach Programs Children Programs English Literacy Shelving Special Events Materials Processing Dusting/Cleaning Program Presenter Contact:

2-4 hours per week
Days of Work Week:
Monday through Saturday Minimum Qualifications
Volunteers 18 years of age or older who are accepted for assignment must consent and pass a criminal background check. Supplemental Information
Knowledge
Communicate clearly and concisely (both verbally and in writing) Knowledge of City and department procedures, policies, and guidelines
Skills
Convey a positive, friendly attitude, work pleasantly with staff, patrons, and other volunteers. Understand and follow written and verbal instructions, policies, and procedures Work congenially with staff, patrons, and other volunteers Ability to lift and move objects as needed Suggest topics and speakers within the timeframe set by the library
