Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview : A law firm based in Houston, TX, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing legal team. The firm handles a wide variety of civil litigation cases, including real estate disputes, construction disputes, debt collection, business divorces, and landlord-tenant conflicts. This opportunity offers the flexibility of remote work while also providing the chance to collaborate with a collegial team of professionals. Duties : Represent clients in civil litigation cases from start to finish, including pretrial and trial stages Handle a diverse range of cases such as real estate disputes, construction matters, debt collection, business divorces, and landlord-tenant issues Manage your caseload with the support of experienced paralegals and staff Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court as needed Prepare legal documents, motions, and pleadings Develop case strategies and work independently to move cases forward Ensure timely and accurate compliance with legal procedures and deadlines Requirements : Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation practice, particularly in Texas Strong experience in handling cases from pretrial through to trial Ability to independently manage a caseload Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills Education : Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Certifications : Active membership in the Texas State Bar Association Skills : Litigation and courtroom experience Legal research and writing Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a legal team Job Location : Houston, TX (Harris County) Remote work option available Health insurance with PPO and HMO options Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Flexible work environment (remote or office-based) Company info BCG Attorney Search 10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100 Houston Texas United States 77042 Phone :
