Job Description Christian Preschool Centers Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Principal/Director. We are looking for an individual with a loving, caring heart and a passion for helping children. We specialize in Early Education and promote growth and development in a nurturing Christian atmosphere. Working Days are Mon-Fri. Examples of Duties:
(This may not include all of the duties assigned) Strong personal time management skills Ability to oversee and train team members in time management Strong leadership skills Customer Service experience Ensures that the facility and staff adhere to all state and local regulations Sets and executes short- and long-term team goals Conducts interviews and reviews the qualifications of all new staff before hiring Manages work schedules Provides feedback to staff on their classroom performance Works with childcare staff and/or parents to address behavioral issues Establishes strong working relationships with state licensing authorities and partnering agencies Performs additional responsibilities as required Credentials/Education Requirements:
Must have or qualify for your Director’s license per Texas Child Care Minimum Standards 746.1015. Requirements include being at least 21 years old, possessing a high school diploma or equivalent, and meeting one of the following educational and experience combinations: Bachelor's degree with 12 college credit hours in child development and 6 in management, with at least 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility Child Development Associate Degree with at least 2 years of experience in a licensed child care facility 9 college credit hours in child development, 9 in management, and at least 3 years of experience in a licensed child care center Refer to 746.1015 for additional qualification options. Candidates must pass a background check, become CPR certified, and hold a valid driver’s license.
