In the role of Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst, we'll count on you to: In collaboration with the M&A team, support all aspects of strategic acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic investments from inception through valuation, due diligence, closing, and integration. Aid with assessments of key issues and impacts on risk and valuation. Support leadership in reviewing strategic fit and rationale for opportunities. Analyze potential acquisition and investment candidates, perform complex financial modeling and other analyses to support negotiations. Analyze acquisition business metrics to enable strategic decision-making. Collaborate and coordinate with business leaders on potential acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and investments. Maintain involvement at a tactical level throughout the acquisition process. Keep updated on competitive and industry trends. Support the M&A team by presenting merger and acquisition data and key metrics to internal review committees, senior leadership, and the Board of Directors. Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving tools used in M&A processes. Willingness to take on additional projects outside of the job description. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics Experience in a prior M&A role Experience with Power BI Holding or working towards a CFA designation Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction industries At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role in finance, accounting, business management, or economics Local candidates preferred Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of acquisition valuation techniques Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Willingness to travel up to 20% for business purposes What We Believe HDR is our company.
