The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating key documents, managing complex deals, and maintaining client relationships. Draft and negotiate definitive and ancillary M&A transaction documents. Manage the deal process, ensuring all steps are executed smoothly and efficiently. Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing legal advice and strategic counsel. Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing guidance on M&A matters. Handle the day-to-day demands of M&A transactions, balancing multiple matters simultaneously. Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and implement strategies for complex transactions. Requirements
4-6 years of experience in M&A law, including both public and private transactions. Strong experience drafting and negotiating key M&A documents, such as purchase agreements. Proven ability to manage deal processes and client relationships independently. Experience in supervising and mentoring junior associates. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines. Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications
Admission to the State Bar (California). Skills
Expertise in M&A transactions, including deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities. Ability to supervise junior associates and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong academic background from a top-tier law school.
